Joint Office Staff

Tim has been involved in the energy industry for over 15 years, focusing on regulatory and commercial issues. He became the inaugural Joint Office Chief Executive and UNC Modification Panel Chair in May 2005.

Bob has over 30 years' experience in the gas industry, originally joining West Midlands Gas, Distribution. In recent years he has been involved in the development of Siteworks agreements, metering separation and separation of National Grid and sold Networks systems.  He is Chair of the Distribution Workstream, the RbD Audit Sub-Committee, the Standards of Service Sub-Committee, the Demand Estimation Sub-Committee, the Energy Balancing Credit Committee and is Secretary to the UNC Modification Panel and UNC Governance Workstream. 

Helen has been employed within the gas industry for over 16 years, originally joining British Gas as a Commercial Trainee. In recent years Helen has worked within Customer Services before joining the Joint Office as the Secretary of the Distribution Workstream.  She is also Secretary to the RbD Audit Sub-Committee and the Standards of Service Sub-Committee.

Lorna joined the gas industry (metering) in 1997 at the start of domestic competition. Since then she has assisted a number of organisations to enter the market and supported the developing customer relationships of new and existing Shippers.  Moving to the Joint Office at the end of 2005 she is currently Secretary to the Transmission and Offtake Arrangements Workstreams, the Offtake Committee, the Shrinkage Forum, and the Demand Estimation Sub-Committee.

Mike has over 35 years' experience in the gas industry, originally joining British Gas as an Apprentice Gas Fitter. In recent years Mike has developed the means by which the Uniform Network Code and associated Modification Proposals are published, including this web site.  He is Deputy Secretary of the UNC Modification Panel, Secretary to the Gas Customer Forum and the Distribution Charging Methodology Forum, and Chair of the UK Link Committee.
