UNC Workstreams

The Modification Rules provide for the Modification Panel to create and manage Workstreams. Modification Proposals and related matters are referred to these Workstreams by the Modification Panel. The Workstreams meet to discuss the range of issues within their remit, with attendance at a meeting open to all who choose to attend. The Modification Panel decides which Workstream is asked to discuss and report on a particular Modification Proposal, and may give guidance as to which issues the Workstream should address.

The majority of Modification Proposals which the Panel decide require further development are referred to one of the Workstreams rather than to a specific group convened to consider a specific Proposal. The Workstreams therefore enable groups of related issues to be considered within a single meeting, avoiding the need to convene separate meetings.

The Workstreams operate within the Chairman’s Guidelines, which are themselves established by the Modification Panel.

Administration of the Workstreams, including providing a Chair and Secretary, is managed by the Joint Office. All Workstream meeting dates and the associated papers are published on this website.
