In 2022, Ofgem’s Switching Significant Code Review (SCR) introduced the Central Switching Service (CSS) and a new version of the Retail Energy Code (REC 3.0). UNC Modification 0804 amended several sections of the UNC to align with these changes.
The Proposer has identified cross-referencing errors in TPD sections B and G, introduced through the implementation of Modification 0804, which this Modification proposal seeks to rectify.
Additionally, the Proposer has identified Modification 0804 amendments to TPD section M which were subsequently undone in error, through the delayed implementation of UNC 0710S. This Modification proposal seeks to reinstate those changes.
Separately, the Proposer has identified further amendments to section M, introduced through Modification 0692S, which were erroneously undone by an earlier version of the Code. This Modification proposal seeks to reinstate those changes and, in addition, correct a newly identified formatting error.
